Liuba Baguanguan Can Can Meat
Baguanguan Can Can Meat is a traditional delicacy passed down since the late Qing Dynasty. It uses premium pork belly, which is deep-fried until light yellow, then marinated with scallions, ginger, and garlic for over an hour before being stewed in a pot until 80% cooked. Carrots, local yam, and wood ear mushrooms are added. When served, it comes as one pot of meat and one pot of broth, accompanied by Guokui flatbread. The bread has its own aroma, the meat its own richness—healthy and nutritious. This snack has been included in the intangible cultural heritage list of Liuba County and also won the Gold Award for one of the “Eight Famous Snacks” at the “First Zibai Mountain Feast Gourmet Competition” in Liuba County.
