Yi-style Stuffed Intestines
Yi-style stuffed intestines are a traditional specialty food of the indigenous Yi people. This product primarily uses high-quality small intestines, crafted using traditional methods. During preparation, all the intestines of one pig are layered from thin to thick and nested within each other, with spices stuffed between each layer, resulting in a dish rich in various nutrients essential for the human body. When served, it is sliced thinly with a mold knife into ring-shaped slices, stacked in layers on a plate, and then steamed until thoroughly cooked. It has a rich flavor that is juicy yet not greasy, crispy and delicious, with a unique taste that can be considered a culinary masterpiece—making it an excellent choice for gifting to family and friends or serving at banquets.
