Pyrophyllite

　　Before 1991, the mineral resources discovered in Yun County included 14 types in four categories: ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, chemical raw materials, and fuels. Between 1991 and 2000, newly discovered mineral types included tantalum, niobium, molybdenum, mica, pyrophyllite, alunite, volcanic ash, and others. New mineral locations included the Chestnut Tree Pyrophyllite deposit (first discovery in the province), Xiaojie Alunite, Dachaoshan Nuowu Copper-Lead Polymetallic Deposit, Chafang Tantalum-Niobium Deposit, multiple lead-zinc deposits near Yangtouyan in Toutaoshui River, Xingfu Bangsa Xiaotianliangzi Manganese Deposit, Xingfu Mengdi Yezhutang Manganese Deposit, Xingfu Bangxin Shantoujie Manganese Deposit, Xingfu Mengdi Yangmeishugou Lead-Zinc Deposit, Maolan Xiaodingxi Cement-grade Limestone, Xiaojie Xinlian Limestone, Manghuai Orchard Copper Deposit, and others. Changes were also made to previously recorded reserves, such as the recalculation of the Chestnut Tree Guanfang Copper Deposit, which was reduced from 11.177 million kilograms to 6.343 million kilograms of copper metal, and the Caodi Copper Deposit, which decreased from 600,000 kilograms to 294,000 kilograms of copper metal.
