Zhenyuan Glass Rice
Zhenyuan Glass Rice is a specialty of Zhenyuan County, Pu'er City, Yunnan Province. Produced in the mountainous region of Zhenyuan, commonly known as "Snowflake Valley," this rice is named "Glass Rice" due to its plump, round grains that are crystal clear and glistening.
Steamed Zhenyuan Glass Rice produces soft, fragrant grains that leave one craving more. The resulting rice crackers are tender and translucent, while the liquor brewed from it is sweet and aromatic, boasting a fragrance unmatched by ordinary glutinous rice. It makes an excellent gift for guests or loved ones.
