Yinjiang features a subtropical warm monsoon climate with distinct seasons, mild winters and cool summers, a long frost-free period, abundant rainfall, frequent cloud cover and limited sunlight. Its highest elevation reaches 2,493.7 meters, making it truly a “high-mountain mist region that produces fine tea.” There are over 100,000 acres of land suitable for tea cultivation, and the tea gardens are located in areas free from any industrial activity—ensuring no pollution and no hazards, thus ideal for producing pollution-free tea.

Fanjing Mountain is one of the six “Man and Biosphere” reserves listed by the United Nations and is a national nature reserve as well as a sacred Buddhist and tourist destination. The area enjoys high forest coverage, lush vegetation, verdant woods, crystal-clear streams, and fresh air. The tea grows under pristine, unpolluted, and hazard-free conditions, giving it unique advantages and exceptional quality.

Fanjing Mountain Tribute Tea originated from “Tuánlóng Tribute Tea” and has a history of five to six hundred years. Historically, the tribute teas from both Yinjiang and Songtao counties were renowned. Today, in Tuánlóng Township of Yinjiang, there still stand four rows of 20 extra-large tea trees, each about 5 meters tall and as thick as a bowl. According to tea experts such as Mou Yingshu, these are the oldest (400–600 years), best-preserved, and thickest-stemmed “King Tea Trees” among planted green tea varieties in China. Fanjing Mountain Tribute Tea is now produced on a large scale with a variety of types, all offered at affordable prices and excellent quality.
