Anlong Bletilla
Anlong Bletilla is a geographical indication protected product.
Anlong Bletilla is a specialty of Anlong County in Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. Qiannan is a state for wellness and health preservation, a destination for travel and vacation, and a place rich in cultural heritage. Its unique ecological and climatic conditions have endowed the region with abundant biological resources, including over 2,000 medicinal plants such as Dendrobium, Gastrodia elata, Bletilla striata, and Ganoderma lucidum, making it one of the treasure troves of medicinal plant resources in Guizhou Province. Leveraging scientific research advantages, Anlong County has established Bletilla medicinal herb planting bases that meet GAP and GEP standards, steadily advancing the development of pollution-free, green, organic, and geographical indication agricultural products. The county aims to attract talent and global resources, increase investment in research, accelerate the development of high-end products, and strive to build a brand that is “green, premium, and high-quality,” akin to “Maotai in liquor, and Bletilla in herbs,” quickly securing a high-end market position. It is hoped that while focusing on products and markets and laying a solid foundation in primary and secondary industries, Anlong County will further integrate the “big health” industry across all three sectors, striving to develop health tourism, health services, fitness and wellness, and other business formats, while building a full industrial chain for the “big health” sector. It is also hoped that all parties involved will fully explore, unleash, and share the benefits of industrial development through cooperation, create synergies, deliver benefits to the people, and maximize the pivotal role of the “big health” industry in driving poverty alleviation.
