Lingchuan Ginkgo, commonly known as white fruit, is also called the "grandfather-grandson tree" or "duck-foot tree." Its fruit (seed) is round, oblong, oval, or elliptical in shape. The outer seed coat is fleshy, the middle coat is bony, and the inner coat is membranous. The seed kernel (white fruit) is oval, egg-shaped, or elongated oval, and is often referred to as a "living fossil." Regular consumption can make the skin smooth and moist, smooth facial wrinkles, and give the cheeks a rosy hue.
