Qinzhou pumpkin seeds are large and plump (measuring 2.2 cm in length and 1.3 cm in width), with high oil content—truly deserving of the title “treasure.”

Among the Three Treasures of Qinzhou—eggs, pumpkin seeds, and Wu Gelao—Qinzhou pumpkins are of superior quality. The flesh helps prevent and treat diabetes, while the seeds have thin skins, large kernels, a delicious flavor, and are famous both domestically and abroad.

Nutritional value: Pumpkin seeds are rich in zinc, which has good medicinal effects in preventing and improving prostate diseases in men. They are also rich in fat, protein, vitamin B, vitamin C, as well as urease and cucurbitine.

Introduction: Pumpkin seeds, also known as white melon seeds, can be eaten raw or roasted. They have dietary therapeutic effects such as killing parasites and treating prostate diseases.

Efficacy: Pumpkin seeds are very effective in killing parasites in the human body (such as pinworms and hookworms). They are also highly effective against blood fluke larvae, making them an excellent dietary remedy for schistosomiasis. Eating about 50 grams of roasted pumpkin seeds daily can effectively prevent and treat prostate diseases, as the fatty acids in the seeds help maintain proper prostate function. The active compounds they contain can reduce swelling in the early stages of prostatitis and also help prevent prostate cancer. Rich in pantothenic acid, they can alleviate stable angina and have blood pressure-lowering effects.

Suitable for: Generally suitable for everyone. People living in areas with poor sanitation can benefit from regular consumption to expel parasites. It is especially suitable for men to consume regularly.

Recommended amount: About 50 grams per serving.

Friendly reminder: People with stomach heat should eat less, as it may cause a feeling of fullness and discomfort in the upper abdomen. Many roasted snacks are high in salt and calories; substituting them with roasted pumpkin seeds is beneficial to health, can lower blood pressure, but should still be consumed in moderation. Avoid eating too much at once—as there have been reports of dizziness caused by excessive consumption of pumpkin seeds.
