Yidu Heiyanzi Honey Oranges

　　The Yidu Heiyanzi Eco-Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Professional Cooperative was initiated by twelve individuals including Wu Jianping, Chen Changbing, and Yan Huaping. It is composed mainly of farmers and organizations engaged in citrus cultivation and sales, pig and poultry breeding and sales, feed sales, and agricultural technical consulting services. Its purpose is to enhance the organization level of farmers and increase members' income. Organized according to the principles of “voluntariness, autonomy, equality, and mutual benefit,” the cooperative was registered with the Administration for Industry and Commerce in June 2011. This spring, in response to the cooperative’s development needs, its membership was further expanded. On August 15, the cooperative held a general meeting of its members, during which the articles of association and various internal regulations were revised and approved. The cooperative has now successfully organized 50 members, 20 of whom have contributed capital in cash, totaling 500,000 yuan.

　　The cooperative is committed to serving its members and seeking the common interests of all. Membership is voluntary, withdrawal is free, all members enjoy equal status and democratic management. It practices independent operation, assumes full responsibility for profits and losses, and shares both benefits and risks. Surplus is primarily distributed based on members’ capital contributions and transaction volumes. Focused on expanding and strengthening the citrus and pig sales industries, the cooperative actively promotes the importance and necessity of pollution-free green food, comprehensively advances variety improvement of citrus and pigs, soil testing and formulated fertilization, biological pest control, and integrated agricultural pest management. Together, members are building a pollution-free citrus base and a pig breeding and rearing base, protecting the ecological environment for citrus cultivation and pig farming, and producing pollution-free green food ingredients. The Yidu Heiyanzi Eco-Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Professional Cooperative will play an important role in enhancing the Yidu citrus brand and quality, scaling up pig farming, increasing farmers’ incomes, and steadily advancing the construction of new rural areas.
