Orange-flavored Spare Ribs
The orange flavor is intensely fragrant and tangy. Paired with spare ribs, it creates a unique sweet-and-sour taste.
Method: Cut the spare ribs into sections and wash them. Slice the ginger and chop the scallions. Take 2 oranges—slice half of one thinly and juice the rest. Marinate the rib sections in salt, chicken bouillon, honey, and orange juice, then let sit for a while. Pan-fry the ribs over low heat until golden brown, then remove and place them neatly on a plate, topping with a few thin orange slices. Heat a small amount of oil in a pan, pour in the orange juice, add a little cornstarch slurry to thicken, and drizzle over the ribs and orange slices.
Health benefits: Nourishes yin, clears heat, and aids digestion.
