Wudang Mountain Herbal Cuisine
Wudang Mountain boasts an extremely rich variety of medicinal plants and has long been known as a “natural treasure trove of herbs.” Among the more than 1,800 types of Chinese herbal medicines recorded in the Compendium of Materia Medica by the Ming dynasty physician Li Shizhen, over 400 are found on Wudang Mountain.
