III. Cultivation and Management
Single-season late rice is cultivated.
1. Seeding Time: Seedlings are raised either by dry nursery or wet nursery in paddy fields, with seeding taking place between April 15 and 20.
2. Transplanting: The transplanting density is 300,000 to 350,000 plants per hectare, with 6 to 8 seedlings per hill. Transplanting must be completed before June 5.
