Fengyang Raspberries
Fengyang raspberries are a specialty of Fengyang County, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province. The 9th International Raspberry Congress was held in Xiaogang Village, known as China's "first village of reform," located in Fengyang County, Anhui. At the congress, Fengyang County was awarded the title of "China's Raspberry Capital" by the International Raspberry Association.
Raspberries, also known as cloudberries, are rich in SOD (superoxide dismutase) and have shown unique benefits in preventing aging, inflammation, tumors, and radiation, earning them the reputation of being the "golden fruit."
It is understood that Fengyang County will focus on supporting Jin Xiaogang Agriculture and Forestry Technology Development Co., Ltd. to establish a 2,000-acre raspberry research and seedling base, while actively introducing a cluster of raspberry deep-processing enterprises to form an agricultural deep-processing demonstration zone.
Xiaogang Village has developed a balanced agricultural landscape featuring a 3,000-acre basic grain production area, a 10,000-acre "black soil" specialty production area, and a modern agricultural production area represented by raspberries, blueberries, and large cherries.
