Its “Xian Balao” series of over 50 varieties of snack foods are highly favored by consumers, enjoying a wide domestic market and being exported to countries and regions such as Italy, Brazil, Singapore, and Hong Kong. The company has a registered capital of 10 million yuan, with its headquarters located in the Lingxi Town Industrial Park of Cangnan County and a wholly-owned branch in Shandong. In 2000, it made an initial investment of 15 million yuan to build the Hefeng Industrial Park, covering an area of 30 mu with a construction area of 12,000 square meters. It introduced advanced equipment such as fully automatic German vacuum packaging machines and high-temperature CNC sterilization kettles from Taiwan, producing 500,000 bags of “Xian Balao” series products daily. Over the years since its founding, through the joint efforts of all employees, the company has successively won honors such as “Key Enterprise of China Food Industry Association,” “Key Enterprise of Cangnan County,” “Zhejiang AAA Credit-Rated Enterprise,” “Top 500 Leading Brands in National Food and Daily Necessities,” “Nationally Quality-Qualified Food,” “China Consumers Foundation Recommended Product,” and “Well-Known Trademark of Wenzhou.”
Product History: Selected as one of China’s Top 500 Food Processing Enterprises, Zhejiang Hefeng Food Co., the owner of the “Xian Balao” product trademark which was named a “Famous Trademark of Zhejiang Province,” also suffered significant losses. Xu Fuxin, the general manager of Hefeng, contacted CCTV and media in the capital city, hoping to restore the reputation of Cangnan’s braised products that were “implicated.” Later, journalists from relevant media randomly purchased several brands of braised products, including those of Hefeng, from supermarkets like “Jingkelong” and sent them to the National Meat Food Quality Inspection Center for testing. After comprehensive testing, this authoritative institution provided results that could vindicate Hefeng.
