Balinyouluo River National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

The Inner Mongolia Balinyouluo River National Wetland Park (Pilot) is located in Yakeshi City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, covering a total area of 22,871.25 hectares. The Yalu River is a first-level right-bank tributary of the Nenjiang River, which itself is a tributary of the Songhua River, a major branch of the Heilongjiang River. It is also known as “??er River” or “Ya’er River.” Its former name was “Ya’er River.” “Yalu,” in Mongolian, means “borderland.” It originates near Boketu Town in Yakeshi City at the eastern foothills of the Greater Khingan Mountains, at an elevation of 1,266 meters. The river mainly flows through Yakeshi City and Zhalantun City in Hulunbuir, as well as Nianzishan District and Longjiang County in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, before joining the Nenjiang River near Halatai Village in Longjiang County. The river is 398 kilometers long (other sources cite lengths of 423.13 km, 395 km, 333 km, and 388.2 km). It has a width of 40–80 meters, a depth of 1.5–3 meters, a total elevation drop of 862 meters, and an average gradient of 2.2.

As the Yalu River flows into Zhalantun City, it runs from northwest to southeast. The main stream above Halasu is within a mountainous forested area, with steep, high mountains on both banks and a relative elevation difference of about 400 meters. The valley is 2–3 kilometers wide, and the river itself is 10–30 meters wide. Both the main and tributary streams lie within the mountainous forest zone, featuring rugged terrain, steep slopes, fast-flowing water, dense vegetation, and swamps that have developed in the valleys.
