Gualv Lake

Covering a total area of 7,000 mu, Gualv Lake includes a water area of 3,000 mu, a wetland area of 400 mu, and a lake island area of 3,600 mu. As an important component of Zengcheng’s new urban center, Gualv Lake is developed as a model project for integrated urban-rural development. It combines mountain, water, garden, and forest landscapes, and divides the lake area into four scenic functional zones: the Lake and Mountain Scenery Zone, the Lakeside Leisure Zone, the Wetland Ecological Zone, and the Forest Oxygen Bar Zone. These zones are connected to the Zengjiang Gallery via greenways and scenic waterways, playing a role in enhancing the living environment, improving the natural ecology, and strengthening water conservancy storage functions. The completion of Gualv Lake will drive a new round of urban development, gradually forming a new urban area characterized by “forests surrounding the city, greenways running through it, and greenery filling the urban space.”
