The memorial hall is situated in Mawu Community, Qingfeng Village, Licheng Subdistrict. It is a uniquely scaled antique-style building, measuring 16 meters in depth, 44.5 meters across nine bays, with a total area of 712 square meters. It exhibits the military accomplishments of the Chinese People’s Guerrilla Forces—Guangdong-Hunan-Jiangxi Border Column, Dongjiang Third Detachment, Sixth Regiment, Zengcheng People’s Regular Team, Second Battalion across different historical periods, as well as the achievements of key figures (such as Regiment Commander Xie Guang and Deputy Commander Wang Guoxiang). Inside the memorial hall, there are facilities including the CPC Zengcheng City Party History Research Office, the Zengcheng Detachment History Exhibition Room, a display of Zengcheng Party history photos, the office of the former headquarters of the Zengcheng People’s Regular Team Second Battalion, and the former site office of the Zengcheng People’s Regular Team Second Battalion. A bronze plaque hangs above the main gate, inscribed with recessed red characters reading: “Former Site of the Zengcheng People’s Regular Team, Sixth Regiment, Dongjiang Third Detachment, Guangdong-Hunan-Jiangxi Border Column. Presented by Zengcheng People’s Government on December 18, 2000.” The memorial hall is backed by wooded hills, with a spacious front yard measuring 95 meters in length and 22.7 meters in width, covering an area of 2,156.5 square meters, planted with evergreen trees and flowers. In front of the yard lies a large, clear pond spanning 150 meters in length and 50 meters in width, with nine stone benches under the trees by the pondside for visitors to rest.

The administrative area covers approximately 2 square kilometers. The village currently consists of seven natural villages, divided into 10 economic cooperatives, with a total of 446 permanent households, 2,076 permanent residents, and about 2,000 migrant workers, making it a relatively large administrative village with scattered natural villages.
