The Tomb of Mr. and Mrs. Zhan Hengyun

The Tomb of Mr. and Mrs. Zhan Hengyun is a Guangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Tomb of Mr. and Mrs. Zhan Hengyun is located at Fenggangzui, Dongtou Community, Yaotian Village, Xintang Town, Zengcheng District. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is classified as an ancient tomb.

In December 2008, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of Guangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Protected area: 10 meters beyond the outer edge of the tomb’s boundary.

Construction control zone: extends south to the northern edge of the existing roadbed of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway, north to the southern edge of the existing road of the Guangyuan Expressway, and 30 meters beyond the outer edge of the protected area on the other two sides.

Yaotian Village: Yaotian Village is located in the northeastern part of Xintang Town, bordering Guanhu and Tangmei villages. To the south, it is near Shixin Highway and connects with “Siwanggang” in Xinhe Village. To the west, it adjoins the Fada Ling Development Zone and Hui Mei New Village, while to the north, it neighbors Changgang Village of Yonghe District and Zhangbei Village within the town. The village covers an area of over four square kilometers and includes five production cooperatives: Shangtian, Donglian, Xilian, Longtang, and Xinwei. It has a permanent population of 763 households, approximately 2,320 people, and around 3,000 migrant residents.
