Tomb of Chen Bangyan

The Tomb of Chen Bangyan is a Guangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Tomb of Chen Bangyan is located on the northern slope of Jiutou Mountain in Dakengli, Changxiang Village, Xintang Town, Zengcheng District. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is categorized as an ancient tomb.

In December 2008, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of Guangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Protected area: 10 meters beyond the tomb’s boundary line.

Construction control zone: 30 meters beyond the outer edge of the protected area.

Xintang Town: Xintang Town is an industrial and commercial hub in the southern part of Zengcheng City and a central town in Guangdong Province. In 2004, during an administrative division adjustment at the town level in Zengcheng City, Xintang Town took jurisdiction over the administrative areas of the former Xintang, Yonghe, Xiancun (excluding Xiagang Village), Shapu, and Ningxi towns. In 2005, the four villages of Yonggang, Hefeng, Xianjiang, and Xinzhuang were incorporated into Luogang District of Guangzhou City. Xintang Town currently administers 16 neighborhood committees and 71 village committees, covering a total area of 251.51 square kilometers with a population of over 400,000 (including 210,000 registered residents and 190,000 migrants).
