Zhucun Pagoda

Zhucun Pagoda is a Guangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Zhucun Pagoda is located in Zhucun, Zhucun Subdistrict, Zengcheng District. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

In December 2008, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of Guangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Protected area: 5 meters beyond the outer edge of the pagoda’s base.

Construction control zone: 50 meters beyond the outer boundary of the protected area.

Zhucun Subdistrict: Zhucun Subdistrict is situated in the central part of Zengcheng City. It lies 14 kilometers east of downtown Zengcheng, 45 kilometers west of Guangzhou City, and 100 kilometers south of Shenzhen. Guangshan Highway runs through the area, providing very convenient transportation. The subdistrict governs an area of 93.9 square kilometers, bordering Licheng to the east, Zhongxin to the west, Xintang and Shitan to the south, and Xiaolou to the north. It administers 12 villagers' committees, 1 residents' committee, totaling 152 villager groups (economic cooperatives), with a total population of 32,959.
