The Liu Clan Ancestral Hall in Machecun Village is located in Machecun Village, Shitan Town, Zengcheng District, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, and is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

In December 2008, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of Guangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Protected area: a 5-meter buffer extending outward from the outer walls of the building and the edge of the stone railing, and to the boundary lines of adjacent buildings elsewhere.

Construction control zone: to the east up to the eastern edge of the pond east of the ancestral hall and the southern edge of the village road, to the north and west approximately 15 meters beyond the protected area boundary, and to the south approximately 20 meters beyond the protected area boundary.
