Fuchang Bridge

Fuchang Bridge is a Guangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Fuchang Bridge is located on a tributary of the Dong River to the southeast in front of Shixia Village, Xintang Town, Zengcheng District.

On August 19, 2015, it was designated as part of the eighth batch of Guangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government.

Protected Area: Extends from the southwest to the northeast boundary of the existing road on the southwest side, and 10 meters beyond the outer edge of the bridge on all other sides.

Construction Control Zone: Extends approximately 20 meters beyond the protected area.

Xintang Town: Xintang Town is an industrial and commercial hub in the southern part of Zengcheng City and a central town in Guangdong Province. In 2004, during the Zengcheng municipal administrative division adjustment, Xintang Town took jurisdiction over the administrative areas of the former Xintang, Yonghe, Xiancun (excluding Xiagang Village), Shapu, and Ningxi towns. In 2005, Yonggang, Hefeng, Xianjiang, and Xinzhuang villages were incorporated into Luogang District of Guangzhou. Currently, Xintang Town administers 16 neighborhood committees and 71 village committees, covering a total area of 251.51 square kilometers with a population of over 400,000 (including 210,000 registered residents and 190,000 migrants).
