Guangzhou’s new Children's Park covers an area of 11,000 square meters. Located at the intersection of Renmin South Road and Yide Road, the park opened on New Year’s Day in 2006. The new Children's Park is thematically designed for children under the age of 12. Considering their psychological traits, the park’s overall design style primarily incorporates natural plants and insect-like animals, with even the tickets featuring a little bee. The new Children's Park maintains the high greening rate of the old park, striving for a coverage rate of over 90%. The landscaping makes use of tree species with large canopies, such as the distinctive banyan and acacia trees of the Lingnan region, to enhance the park’s green coverage. Most of the ancient and notable trees from the original Children's Park have been relocated to the new one.

The park has three levels: the ground level, the first basement level, and the second basement level. The ground level houses the park’s amusement facilities, covering an area of 11,000 square meters. The first basement level includes arcade machines and other entertainment options suitable for younger children, along with shops, spanning a total of 8,000 square meters. The second basement level is designated for parking, with a total of 309 parking spaces.

The design of the new Children's Park makes full use of vertical space, addressing the previous issue of limited land area that made it difficult to accommodate a full range of amusement facilities and science education programs. Most notably, the park’s puppet theater is half above ground and half below, situated in the first basement level.

The new Children's Park offers a wide variety of amusement facilities, including more than 20 attractions such as the Honey Processing Factory, Bubble Ball Park, Dolphin Jump, Elevated Sightseeing Train, Wave Rider, High Slide, Luxury Carousel, Bumper Cars, and Traffic City.
