Guangzhou Development Park

Development Park is located in the central area of Ersha Island.

As you approach the main entrance of Guangzhou Development Park, the first thing that catches your eye is a huge variegated banyan tree. At the back of the park are several tall bodhi banyan trees. The design philosophy of Development Park can be summed up in one phrase: "open woodland and lawn." Though the trees are large, they are not densely packed, giving a very open feeling. From here, you can enjoy a distant view of Zhujiang New Town. The lush green park and the row upon row of modern skyscrapers form one of the most beautiful "skyline" views in Guangzhou.

Development Park is the "essence" of the Ersha Island Greenway, so great emphasis was placed on the completeness of supporting facilities during its construction. Walking along the park’s bike path, you’ll occasionally come across small wooden cabins — these are "rest stops" for citizens.
