The Tomb of Deng Yin-nan is a cultural relic protection unit of Guangzhou City.

The Tomb of Deng Yin-nan is located on Xianlie South Road in Guangzhou, adjacent to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Cemetery to the east. Upon entering the tomb gate, a “Tomb Epitaph of Mr. Deng Yin-nan” stands beside the pathway. Authored and inscribed by Hu Hanmin, it provides a brief biography of Deng. It was erected in 1929. To the west of the epitaph lies the center of the cemetery. The tomb itself is rectangular and slab-like in shape, made of cement, facing south with its back to the north, and is 20 centimeters high. Atop the tomb lies a horizontal gravestone inscribed with “Tomb of General Deng Yin-nan,” which differs from the conventional upright tombstone design. To the north stands a memorial monument, 9 meters high, square-shaped, with a stucco finish, and a blunt triangular top on all four sides. The front of the monument is inscribed with “Memorial Monument to General Deng Yin-nan.”

Deng Yin-nan (1864–1923) was a native of Kaiping County, Guangdong Province. In his early years, he went to Honolulu to engage in business. In the 20th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1894), he met Sun Yat-sen, joined the Revive China Society, and returned to Hong Kong the following year. He participated in planning the Guangzhou Uprising of 1895, as well as the subsequent Sanyuanli Uprising, the armed response to the Wuchang Uprising in Xin’an, Guangdong (now Bao’an District), and various efforts after the establishment of the Republic of China, including the campaign against Yuan Shikai, the Protection of the Constitution Movement, the campaign to oust Mo Rongxin, and the campaign against Chen Jiongming. He held the official position of Consultant in Sun Yat-sen’s Presidential Office. He passed away in Macau in 1923 and was buried at the current site in October 1924. Sun Yat-sen posthumously awarded him the rank of General of the Army.

In 1983, the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government designated it as a cultural relic protection unit.
