The Memorial Pavilion of the Restoration is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Memorial Pavilion of the Restoration was built to commemorate the significant contributions made by Hong Kong compatriots who donated generously to support the 1911 Revolution between 1911 and 1912. On October 10, 1911, the 1911 Revolution broke out. At that time, Zhang Mingqi, the Viceroy of Liangguang under the Qing government, abandoned the city and fled. Hong Kong representatives who were in Guangzhou helping to establish the Guangdong Military Government volunteered to rush back to Hong Kong to rally donations, thereby consolidating the Guangdong Military Government and stabilizing the revolutionary situation. To recognize the generous financial support from Hong Kong compatriots for the revolution, the Guangdong Military Government erected a stone memorial archway here in 1928 as a tribute. During the Anti-Japanese War, after the Japanese army occupied Guangzhou, they demolished the archway. In 1948, people from Guangzhou and Hong Kong rebuilt a four-cornered pavilion at the original site using reinforced concrete and remnants of the engraved stones from the archway. It was named the Memorial Pavilion of the Restoration to be remembered for generations to come.
