No. 1 Cantonese Leveling Datum Point and Stone Monument

The No. 1 Cantonese Leveling Datum Point and Stone Monument is a Guangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The No. 1 Cantonese Leveling Datum Point and Stone Monument is located in front of Unit 2, Building 9, Courtyard 19, Donggao Avenue, Zhongshan 3rd Road, Yuexiu District.

On August 19, 2015, it was announced by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government as part of the eighth batch of Guangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Protected area: to the east, the line along the eastern wall of the three-story building north of the marker monument; to the north, the line along the northern wall of the three-story building north of the marker monument; to the south, the line along the northern façade of the nine-story residential building south of the marker monument; to the west, the western boundary of Qianlutou North Horizontal Street; the protected area of the former site wall of the Qing Dynasty Guangdong Army Survey Bureau extends to the north up to the wall of the courtyard of the Guangdong Disabled Persons’ Federation and to the south up to the southern wall line of the building at No. 88 Qianlutou North Horizontal Street.

Construction control zone: to the east, the line along the western wall of the four-story building (No. 16, self-numbered) of the Guangzhou Military Region Joint Logistics Department; to the north, the line along the southern wall of the eight-story building of the Guangdong Disabled Persons’ Federation; to the south, the line along the northern wall of the five-story building (No. 8, self-numbered) of the Guangzhou Military Region Joint Logistics Department; to the west, the western boundary of the planned road on Qianlutou North Horizontal Street.
