The East Asia Hotel is a protected cultural heritage site of Guangzhou Municipality.

The East Asia Hotel is located at No. 320 Changdi Dadao, Yuexiu District.

Guangzhou East Asia Hotel is situated on the beautiful banks of the Pearl River and in the bustling downtown area of Changdi. It is a hotel with a long history and a glorious revolutionary tradition. It was once renowned across Southeast Asia, Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau for its luxury and grandeur, and also gained national fame for its distinguished revolutionary history. It is the site where the first red flag of Guangzhou’s liberation was raised.

In August 1993, it was designated as part of the fourth batch of Protected Cultural Heritage Sites of Guangzhou Municipality by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government.
