China Printmaking Museum

The China Printmaking Museum covers an area of 17,600 square meters with a total floor space of 18,600 square meters. The museum is divided into two zones: Zone A, the public area, which features exhibition halls, galleries, an art bookstore, craft studios, a multi-functional academic lecture hall, research centers, and more; Zone B, the working area, houses departments such as the General Office, Academic Exchange Department, Exhibition Department, Collection Research Department, and Public Education Promotion Department. It will serve as a window for appreciating printmaking art and bringing art to the public.

The China Printmaking Museum is an important academic project and a key component of the overall planning and construction of the Guanlan Original Printmaking Base in China. It provides academic support for the development of the printmaking base, serves as a specialized museum for printmaking art, and strives to become a hub for printmaking scholarship in China and even the world.

The China Printmaking Museum offers artists a more standardized and professional venue and services for showcasing their work, while also supporting the collection and research of artworks by artists based at the printmaking base. The completion of the museum fills a gap in the international arena for specialized Chinese printmaking exhibition spaces, providing a new platform for international printmaking exchanges and enabling the sharing of academic research information on printmaking between China and abroad. The museum regularly hosts important academic events such as the Guanlan International Print Biennale, China Printmaking Exhibition, and Guanlan Forum. With its rich collection of international prints, professional printmaking research, and standardized international operations, it continues to promote the exchange and development of global printmaking art.
