The Border Wall ruins are a cultural tourism attraction.

Locally known as the "Genghis Khan Wall," also called the "Golden Wall." It is the remnant of an ancient Great Wall stretching east to west across Sonid Left Banner, with a total length

. The wall ruins here are

high, and were built from a mixture of rubble and earth. This section of the Great Wall was an extension built upon the foundation constructed in the fifth year of the Mingchang era (

) during the Jin Dynasty under Puluohuo, and came into use in the third year of the Cheng'an era (

). Trenches were dug along the sides of the wall, and defensive positions were set up on higher ground. The wall ruins are relatively clear around Chonghurigeyinhuduga, Demqi, and Wulanshanduhaxiyatu on the right side, as well as in the areas of Xirihailai and Ganjurchaganchulutu. To the west of Halazgaiyinhaxiya Guoke, the ruins of larger courtyard structures built along the wall are very distinct.
