Yanxi Garden is located on Yanxi Mountain in the northeastern part of Lianzhou City. With secluded valleys, peculiar rocks, lush trees, and clear springs, the trees intertwine with the rocks in complex root systems, while pavilions and towers stand gracefully atop the stones—altogether forming the serene and elegant Yanxi Garden.

Within Yanxi Garden, besides the time-honored Yanxi Pavilion and the classic-style Yanxi Memorial Archway, there are also historic sites and scenic spots such as the Yanghan Bridge, Zhenlu Pavilion, Wolong Pavilion, Shiyong Pavilion, Zuigong Rock, Liubei Pavilion, the Yanxi Mountain Cliff Inscription Cluster, the former site of Yanxi Academy, and the Tieshicheng Pavilion.
