Xiaokeng National Forest Park

Xiaokeng National Forest Park is a national-level forest park.

Xiaokeng National Forest Park is located in Qujiang County and is home to over 1,600 species of wild plants, 33 of which are under national key protection. The park features a more than 400-hectare Longhu Lake, shaped like a crescent moon with mirror-like waters, where visitors can go boating and fishing. The temperature here remains around 20 degrees Celsius, and even the highest summer temperature is only around 25 degrees Celsius. In winter, if it snows, visitors can enjoy the snowy scenery.

The most attractive feature here is a radon-containing hot spring, which is classified as a top-grade mineral water for medical use, similar in quality to the water in Xi'an. It has good therapeutic effects on chronic diseases, especially those related to the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and nervous systems. Surrounded by mountains, the hot spring area is shrouded in mist in spring, shaded by dense foliage in summer, ablaze with red maples in autumn, and filled with steam in winter. The hot spring has 2,000 beds available for guests to use for travel, convalescence, and vacation.

Transportation: First take a bus from Shaoguan to Qujiang, then transfer to a bus to Xiaokeng.
