Jinglunlun Cultural Tourism Town is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a cultural heritage conservation unit of Guangdong Province.

Jinglunlun Cultural Tourism Town officially opened in the beautiful Xiaokeng National Forest Park in Qujiang District. This marks another remarkable achievement by Shaoguan City in earnestly implementing Guangdong Province’s policies to promote leapfrog development in the northeastern and northwestern regions and to build a national-level tourism industry cluster.

Tourism is a window to the city, and culture is the soul of tourism. The “Jinglunlun Cultural Tourism Town” achieves a perfect integration of the natural ecology of hot springs and forests with Zen culture, making it the largest comprehensive cultural and tourism resort project in our city to date. Covering an area of approximately 17 hectares, the scenic area combines Zen meditation, hot springs, vacationing, and wellness, making full use of its high-quality geothermal hot spring resources and cool, picturesque mountain scenery to fully showcase the natural beauty of Shaoguan, while highlighting the core concept of “Zen culture.”

The “Jinglunlun Cultural Tourism Town · Forest Hot Spring World” primarily focuses on Zen wellness, leisure vacations, and tourism services, with its individual designs mainly adopting Southeast Asian architectural styles. The scenic area integrates hot springs, vacationing, Zen meditation, and wellness, taking full advantage of its premium geothermal hot spring resources and serene mountain views to interpret the beauty of nature in full, while emphasizing the core concept of “Zen culture.” The entire project is being developed in three phases. The first phase involves an investment of 1.7 billion yuan and mainly consists of seven individual structures: the Zizai Building, Hot Spring Museum, Hot Spring Center, Resort Hotel, International Exchange Center for Zen Culture, CYTS International Youth Apartment, as well as the Prayer Square and Cloud Water Zen Realm.

The “Jinglunlun Cultural Tourism Town” proudly houses a jadeite Guanyin statue acclaimed as the “World’s Largest.” Standing 5.3 meters tall, 3.8 meters wide, and 2.7 meters thick, it was meticulously carved from a single piece of jadeite weighing over 100 tons. The material is smooth, fine-textured, and boasts a dazzling array of colors. It is said to be the largest jadeite Guanyin statue in the world to date, showcasing China’s exceptional jade carving craftsmanship—unsurpassed and truly a treasure of the era.

The giant jadeite Guanyin statue was carved from a single piece of jadeite ore weighing over 100 tons. The material is smooth and fine-textured, with a rich variety of colorful hues, set off by shades of emerald green—as if sent from heaven. The dignified and compassionate image of Guanyin conveys the scene of explaining the Dharma to the vast world, reflecting the boundless wisdom of Buddhism and its blessings upon all beings. The entire composition of the Buddhist sea imagery is rich in meaning and boundless in significance. As the world’s largest jadeite Guanyin statue to date, it demonstrates China’s superb jade carving skills—unsurpassed and truly a treasure of the era.

The resort hotel of Jinglunlun Cultural Tourism Town inherits the traditional Southeast Asian architectural style. The spring water in the hot spring museum comes from the “Luohan Spring,” a rare colorless, odorless, and soakable warm mineral spring in Lingnan. The spring water contains the rare and precious radon element along with various other minerals and trace elements beneficial to the human body. The International Exchange Center for Zen Culture is a landmark building that integrates functions such as religion, culture, art, and conferences. Its magnificent exterior and solemn, heartfelt interior complement each other, reflecting both the profound depth and lofty nature of Zen culture, as well as the seamless fusion of traditional Eastern cultural elements with the distinct characteristics of the modern era, perfectly presenting its unique identity.

The CYTS International Youth Hostel emphasizes a boutique living environment—fashionable, bright, modern, and combining ecology with technology—offering young travelers the best accommodation services at the most economical prices. The apartment has a construction area of 13,564 square meters, currently offers 248 rooms, and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests simultaneously. A warm and friendly atmosphere permeates the entire apartment.

The “Prayer Square” serves as a grand prayer site and sacred place of worship for Guanyin Bodhisattva, characterized by its majestic and solemn presence. Through spatial division and utilization, it showcases the essence of Chinese culture and Guanyin culture, expressing strong Buddhist characteristics. The Cloud Water Zen Realm primarily offers “Zen meditation” experiences to short-term sightseeing visitors. In addition to the main residential areas, it includes corresponding public auxiliary facilities. Jiumu Town: A township under the jurisdiction of Pucheng County. Established as the Jiumu People's Commune in 1958 and restructured as a township in 1984. Located in the northwest of the county, on the upper reaches of the Jiumu Stream, it is 29 kilometers from the county seat. The area spans 151 square kilometers with a population of 12,000.
