The Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Temple Tourist Area is located in a canyon about 25 kilometers southwest of Lindong Town, Bairin Left Banner. It is an excellent choice for worship, incense offering, historical exploration, and sightseeing. The Temple was first built during the Liao Dynasty,

and consists of two parts: grottoes and outer halls. The grottoes were carved during the Liao Dynasty and historically known as the True Silence Temple, while the outer hall was built during the Qing Dynasty and named Shanfu Temple. It is a key cultural relic protection unit at the autonomous region level.

The Temple Tourist Area attracts domestic and international visitors for sightseeing and research with its unique charm.

The True Silence Temple is nestled among mountains. The three peaks—Sacred Water Mountain, Bie Leng Mountain, and Lingyan Mountain—form a natural winnow-shaped valley. Lingyan Mountain rises abruptly from the valley floor, with steep cliffs and a dramatic landscape. A giant peach-shaped boulder is supported only by a tiny base,

standing atop the cliff peak. It seems to sway in the wind and shake in the rain, standing year-round under the sun and moon, accompanied by clouds and mist. Viewed from the front, it resembles a fresh peach, but from the side,

it looks like a chick soaring through the clouds. Climb the “King of Hell’s Path,”

circle the “Peach Stone,”

explore the “Rebirth Cave” and the “Golden Turtle Cave,”

gaze at the “Golden Turtle Probing the Sea Stone,”

tread the “Empress Xiao’s Roadway” and drink from the “Sacred Water Well,” to appreciate the wonders created by nature.

Ascend the Sacred Water Changchun Pavilion and Miaoshan Pavilion, admire the Peace and Harmony Pagoda, the Great Buddha Platform, and the Lotus Gathering Pagoda, and experience the joy of cultural landmarks.
