Baiyin Gaoluo Kiln Site
The Baiyin Gaoluo Kiln Site is located in Dongbaiyin Gaoluo Village, Balinzuo Banner, and is one of the well-known kiln sites in the Shangjing area during the Liao Dynasty. It covers an area approximately 300 meters in length from east to west and about 500 meters in width from north to south. The surface is scattered with a large number of ceramic fragments, predominantly featuring black-glazed and dark green-glazed wares. The kiln chambers are mostly horseshoe-shaped in plan, with walls constructed from adobe bricks. In addition to the kiln chambers, the site also features raw material selection areas with piles of 10-centimeter-thick purple crushed stone materials. Kiln tools found at the site include saggers, supports, nails, and spacers.
