Reșița is a city in western Romania, located in the Banat region, and serves as the capital of Caraș-Severin County. Inhabited since the Neolithic period, it is currently an important steel center in Romania and considered the country’s second-largest industrial hub.

Reșița is home to many religious buildings, which serve as historical witnesses and landmarks. Visitors can explore landmarks such as the Church of Saint Mary, the Holy Trinity Church, the Pentecost Church, and the Church of Saints Peter and Paul. The city also houses a locomotive museum featuring Romania’s first steam engine. Additionally, there is a fountain renowned across Romania, built during the communist era and considered one of the most beautiful fountains in Europe. Its most magical feature is the ability to change the shape of its water jets mid-air.
