Slovak National Gallery

The Slovak National Gallery (Slovak National Gallery) consists of multiple galleries, with its headquarters located in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. It was established on July 29, 1949.

The Slovak National Gallery boasts a collection of more than fifty-five thousand artworks, making it the largest gallery in Bratislava. Its collections are displayed across two interconnected buildings: one is the Vodne Kasarne (Water Barracks) at Razsusovo nabrezie, and the other is the Esterhazy Palace at Sturovo nabrezie. The gallery’s permanent exhibitions feature European artworks from the 16th to the 18th centuries, Gothic art from Slovakia, Baroque art from Slovakia, as well as 19th-century Slovak artworks including drawings, oil paintings, sketches, jewelry, glassware, handicrafts, and various design pieces.
