Introduction Poros Island isn’t actually a single island—it consists of two small isles, Karavria and Sferia, connected by a bridge. The islands have a population of around 4,000 and a diameter of about 10 kilometers. Though small in size, they boast stunning scenery. The island is dotted with lemon and olive trees, and the buildings are mostly white, with many beautiful flower arrangements adorning the whitewashed facades. There are several cafes by the dock, making it a great spot to enjoy coffee and music. From the island, you can gaze across to the Peloponnesian Peninsula, which is just a 30-minute boat ride away.

The area enjoys a Mediterranean climate, and the best time to visit Poros Island is from the end of April to October. Transportation It takes only 45 minutes to reach Poros Island from the port of Piraeus, Greece, by ferry or high-speed boat.
