The spectacular St. Michael's Cave is a natural cave located in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar, beneath the famous Rock of Gibraltar at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level. Historical records indicate that the cave is named after an angel mentioned in the Bible, who was said to have appeared here.

Walking along a tranquil path to St. Michael's Cave, you can experience the wonderful feeling of being alone with nature. Unlike many other caves you may have visited, St. Michael's Cave features a massive natural auditorium—an all-year-round venue suitable for various events, especially concerts and live performances. As you walk down into the lower cave, numerous large stalactites and stalagmites come into view, each uniquely shaped, crystal-clear, and astonishing—true masterpieces of nature’s incredible craftsmanship. With prior arrangement, you can also visit the Lower St. Michael's Cave, which contains a beautiful subterranean lake.

In addition to its natural wonders, St. Michael's Cave is enhanced by artificial colorful lighting, making the cave even more enchanting and captivating. It is one of Gibraltar’s most popular tourist attractions, receiving up to one million visitors annually.
