Darjeeling is home to over 86 tea gardens that produce the world-renowned "Darjeeling tea." Enjoy a cup of locally brewed Indian tea in the tea gardens or pick a few tea leaves in the plantations—your choice is yours to make.

From here, you can see Kangchenjunga, the world’s third-highest peak and the highest mountain in India, with a panoramic view of the summit. Popular attractions in Darjeeling include temples, botanical gardens, a zoo, and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, which features the longest cable car ride in Asia. Tiger Hill is an excellent spot to watch the sunrise.
