It is located in the famous seaside city of Brighton in East Sussex, England. The toy and model collections are housed within a four-thousand-square-foot historic building, which is supported by four early Victorian arches, giving the space a charmingly classic feel.

Brighton Toy and Model Museum houses a collection of over ten thousand toys and models, including invaluable model trains, radio-controlled airplanes, and antique toys from various eras. The exhibition area features two large working model railway layouts that showcase toy models produced by classic manufacturers such as the German Bing toy company, British Hornby Trains, British Meccano, British Pelham Puppets, and the renowned German plush toy maker Steiff. In addition, the museum also displays a number of individually designed toy and model works, each with unique characteristics.
