Drusillas Zoo Park is located near Alfriston in East Sussex, England. It is a small zoo covering just 10 acres, but it enjoys a certain level of fame in the UK. Unlike other zoos, animal encounters here are mainly designed for children aged 2 to 10.

The zoo houses both wild and domestic animals, with approximately 196 species and 1,638 animals, and this number continues to grow. The park maintains a core principle of keeping primarily smaller-sized animals. Among the residents are several primates including black-crested macaques, brown capuchins, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and white-handed gibbons; additionally, there are ring-tailed lemurs, servals, African crested porcupines, Rodrigues fruit bats, Asian short-clawed otters, llamas, Humboldt penguins, parrots, penguins, and flamingos.

The zoo features numerous interactive activity zones, including adventure play areas tailored for different age groups, a cozy indoor entertainment center, and the hugely popular “Thomas & Friends” miniature train among young visitors. This adorable little train runs daily and takes children on a ride through the entire zoo, allowing them to see the many animals while accompanied by their parents.
