Xu Zhimo's Poetry Monument

Xu Zhimo's Poetry Monument is located on a patch of grass at King's College, Cambridge. Engraved on a white marble stone are the famous lines from "Farewell to Cambridge Again": "Very quietly I take my leave / As quietly as I came here; / Gently I flick my sleeves / Not even a wisp of cloud will I bring away." The stone isn’t particularly eye-catching, but quite a few Chinese visitors to Cambridge come looking for it. It can be seen from across the River Cam, just past the bridge to the right of King's College Chapel.
