The Dome of Light in Kaohsiung MRT’s Formosa Boulevard Station uses colorful light projections to create ever-changing visuals, earning the station frequent coverage in international media and even a spot on the list of the world’s most beautiful subway stations. Recently, U.S. websiteOddeeshared the top 10 most amazing ceilings around the globe, with the Dome of Light ranked at No. 4.

Dubbed the world’s largest glass art installation, the Dome of Light is composed of 4,500 “window panels.” Since September 2015, it has featured the Dome of Light Light Show, which presents different themed displays for various holidays and events. Combining lighting and music, it creates a kaleidoscopic, magical world that captivates many visitors.
