Situated in Leicestershire in central England, Donington Park Circuit is an international Grand Prix-level racing facility that also offers track days and driving experiences. It is the birthplace of the British Motorcycle Grand Prix, which has been hosted here every year since 1987. The circuit also hosted the inaugural World Superbike Championship, and the F1 European Grand Prix in 1993—making Ayrton Senna the only driver to have won an F1 race at this track.

Donington Park Circuit was built using roads in front of Donington Hall within the park. When it opened in 1931, the track was used solely for motorcycle racing. In 1933, the circuit was extended and resurfaced, allowing it to also host car races. During World War II, the site was converted into a military vehicle storage depot, and the track closed. In 1971, the circuit was purchased by local businessman and motorsport enthusiast Tom Wheatcroft. It reopened in 1977 after redevelopment, but the Melbourne Hairpin had been removed. The corner was reintroduced in 1985, giving Donington Park two distinct track layouts.

The track is divided into two sections—one featuring a series of high-skill-demanding long sweeping corners followed by short straights broken up by slower turns. The section between the Craner Curves and the Old Hairpin lets you truly feel the difference between world-class racers and the rest, while the Melbourne Hairpin is the perfect spot to experience the thrill of braking at the very last moment.
