Chamberlain Square

Chamberlain Square is located in the city center of Birmingham, England, adjacent to Victoria Square, and is named after the highly influential British politician Joseph Chamberlain.

Chamberlain Square is renowned for its variety of buildings and sculptures, and is hailed as the most culturally rich square in Birmingham. In the square, visitors can see the Birmingham Central Library, Birmingham City Council, Birmingham Town Hall, the Big Brum Clock, the Chamberlain Memorial, the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, as well as statues of Joseph Priestley, James Watt, and Thomas Attwood. The sweeping curved steps of the Birmingham Central Library form an amphitheater, making the square suitable for hosting a variety of public events.

The annual Birmingham Christmas Craft Fair is held at Chamberlain Square, from the third Friday of November to December 23 each year. This event began in 1997 with the aim of revitalizing Birmingham city center.
