Chamberlain Memorial
The Chamberlain Memorial is located in Chamberlain Square in the heart of Birmingham. It was built to commemorate Joseph Chamberlain, a highly influential British politician, and is one of the city’s most significant monuments.
Joseph Chamberlain, one of Birmingham’s most renowned businessmen, Members of Parliament, and politicians, passed away in 1914. The Chamberlain Memorial was completed in 1880 in the Neo-Gothic style, standing 20 meters tall, and has been designated as a Grade II listed building in the UK. Whenever citizens visit the memorial, they are reminded of the great contributions Chamberlain made to Birmingham. Everyone comes here with a sense of gratitude to pay their respects to this great figure.
