Thinktank

Thinktank is a science museum located in Birmingham, which opened in 2001. It has four floors and is renowned across Birmingham for its more than 200 hands-on exhibits, making it the city’s most popular science museum and a favorite among children.

Thinktank seeks to help visitors understand the world around them from different perspectives and in various ways—discovering the past, understanding the present, and exploring the future. The museum's collection is divided into two main sections: Natural Sciences and Science & Industry. The Natural Sciences collection includes animals, plants, rocks, fossils, and minerals, while the Science & Industry collection covers transportation, manufacturing, communications, weapons, clocks, and more. The museum is organized into ten major exhibition halls, each with its own theme, such as the Story of Birmingham, Kids' City, Wild Life, the Planetarium, and Artificial Intelligence.

The science museum also features a Science Garden, which was completed and opened to the public in 2012 but remains closed during winter due to weather conditions. This Science Garden is an ideal place for family fun, featuring 42 hands-on exhibits full of surprises and entertainment, where visitors can learn relevant scientific knowledge in a joyful atmosphere.
