Walsall is a city and metropolitan borough in England, located in the West Midlands, eight miles northwest of Birmingham and six miles east of Wolverhampton. Historically, it was part of Staffordshire.

This thriving town, which developed from a village during the Industrial Revolution, continues to grow and boasts numerous cultural facilities and newly developed commercial districts. The Walsall Museum and the Walsall Leather Museum are among the most notable local museums; the former focuses on showcasing the history of local manufacturing, while the latter displays a variety of leather goods and features an entertaining tannery workshop. The New Art Gallery Walsall, which opened in 2000, houses works by renowned artists such as Jacob Epstein, Van Gogh, Monet, and John Constable, and hosts various exhibitions. In addition, the home museum of British writer Jerome K. Jerome, the traditional Walsall Market, and Walsall Arboretum are also worth visiting.
