Anfield Stadium is located in the Anfield district of Liverpool, Merseyside, England. It was first opened in 1884 and is a four-star stadium accredited by UEFA, as well as the home ground of Liverpool Football Club.

The four stands of Anfield Stadium are the Spion Kop Stand, the Main Stand, the Centenary Stand, and the Anfield Road Stand. Each stand has made significant contributions to the matchday experience. The Spion Kop Stand is the largest stand in terms of capacity, holding up to 28,000 spectators and is one of the largest single-tier stands in the world. Anfield Stadium has an overall capacity of 45,362, making it the sixth-largest stadium in the UK. The stadium's highest recorded attendance was 61,905, set on February 2, 1952, during an FA Cup fourth-round match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Since its opening, Anfield Stadium has hosted numerous international matches, including some nominal home games for the Wales national team. It was also one of the venues for UEFA Euro 1996, with four matches played there.
